Tornado watch in effect for most of Florida (St. Petersburg Times) – 611th News Item

A tornado watch was issued Friday afternoon for the entire Tampa Bay area and most of the state, according to the National Weather Service. The watch, which precedes a warning, last through about 9 p.m.
