High atop my balcony on the 47th floor, you can hear the tornado (civil defense) sirens blaring over downtown Chicago. This was filmed facing South from approximately Huron and State streets.

A standard interruption of the Emergency Alert System. Another pointless video by me. I have no idea why the video keeps shifting. The cable company kept having satellite errors earlier that day. It has been subtitled in order to help you can understand the voice somewhat better.

This video is part of the 4/10/09 Middle Tennessee Tornado Outbreak. This is a 26 minute long tornado warning video in Dickson County. Sirens heard include my Model 2, and a Sentry 16V1T-B low tone in the city of Dickson. Please excuse my shaky camera work, but my community comes first when we are in the path of severe weather, plus I was quite excited, lol. A F-2 tornado hit Slayton, a small community 4.2 miles north of the city of Vanleer, a city right here in Dickson County. It destroyed one newly built home and damaged two others.

A simulation of a tornado warning for the eastern area of Toronto broadcasted on a local radio station. This is based on the set up of the American EAS messages, since most of Canada does not have any kind of Emergency Alert System in place. Any weather bulletins issued from Environment Canada are only reported live on air by the radio djs. I was inspired to do this after an actual tornado warning was issued for parts of the city on August 6/09. Remember, this is a FAKE RADIO BROADCAST. I was more concerned with the details of the audio rather than the accompanying video. Please do not comment on the selection or lack of images used. _______________________ Majority of EAS tones of the video were taken from uncjerry77's video of a true EAS tornado warning. You can watch it here: www.youtube.com This is my first vid, and I'm hoping to create an EAS screen to go along with the message very soon!
