Tornado and flood watches are in effect for most of South Florida. The watches include Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, according to the National Weather Service. The tornado watch will last until 9 p.m. and the flood watch until 7 p.m., said Tyrone Mosley, weather service specialist.
